Meet Sheba Hiltabidle. She has been reunited with Sign Shares Inc. once again! Sheba confidently serves as our ‘Cloud Coordinator’ since we have been migrating into a satellite office formation. Mrs. Hiltabidle is not new to Sign Shares Inc, as a previous employee, Sheba assisted in several administration roles from: Coordination, Planning, and Accounting.  Yet, her specialty is within her heart for Advocacy!
 
Sheba explains more…
“I was a stay - at - home mom of 5 children for many years. One child was diagnosed with a genetic/chronic illness.  I instantly learned to be a voice for my child, because she did not have one. I started to research on how to help her, networking within the advocacy community.  I quickly became a member of the Family Advisory Board at Texas Children's Hospital; assisting other parents like myself.  Soon after, I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation. I was in my late 20’s and underwent brain surgery.

Before my surgery, I joined a support group where I met Eva Storey and her son who was diagnosed with a spinal illness similar to mine. The group was for people who had these rare spinal conditions known as Syringomyelia and Chiari Malformations. It was offered at the offices of Sign Shares, Inc. and there my advocacy grew within the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities. I love my job because I am helping people of all disabilities and teaching others who want to learn about these type of communities. Being a Cloud Coordinator for Sign Shares, Inc. places me behind the scenes setting the stage for others to use.”
Sheba was a Texan for over 15 plus years, as she recently relocated to Florida. She has family in both Texas and Florida and travels back and forth between her two fondest States. Sheba has recently been blessed with her first grandchild, born days before Hurricane Harvey and Irma. Sheba definitely is a survivor and we appreciate having her as part of our team family. She is currently focusing on Cloud Coordinating, Accounting, and training for an up and coming certification in wellness coaching.  Sheba is learning Sign Language.
